Another Week of Storytelling

After traveling to Colorado, I spent another week at Youthfront West (Middle School Camp) as the “Storyteller” for week #9. This was something I did back in June for the week #3 session. The week was AWESOME! Over 250 campers, and everything ran smoothly. Sheila and the kids spent more time with me at the camp this week, so we got a taste of what Program Director family life will be like. Kyron and Raylee had a blast. Kyron tried “Blobbing” for the first time, and held his own against the larger middle schoolers and cabin leaders. I seized many opportunities to sit in on staff meetings and have conversations with various staff to learn more about my role for next year. My excitement for joining the Youthfront team continues to grow. And our family looks forward to the ministry we’ll have together at the camp starting next summer.
